ANSWERS:

What is your philosophy about wedding photography?
It's your wedding day and one of the most important days in your life. We want to make photographs that help you remember your wedding day the way it was, without a lot of forced poses or special effect gimmicks.

Do you photograph in the formal style or photojournalistic style?
Both! We believe it is important to capture images in both formal and photojournalistic styles. We make the formal session as brief and as fun as possible. Then spend the rest of the day capturing candid moments as they occur, in an unobtrusive and professional manner.

Do you meet with clients before the wedding?
It is very important for us to meet with the bride and groom at least once before the wedding to go over the checklist, understand your specific requirements, familiarize ourselves with the day's schedule, and just get to know one another a little. It will make things go more smoothly on the big day.

What type of equipment do you use?
We use a combination of different equipment depending on the situation. We use top of the line lighting units and cameras for all the shots. Generally we use cameras capable to capture 12.8 Megapixel images, which provide extremely sharp images that are suitable for enlargement and extreme cropping. We also bring backup equipment, including extra camera bodies, flashes, batteries, and lighting equipment.

Do you shoot Black and White as well as color?
Yes! You can decide how much and which portions of your day will be in color or black and white. We can do sepia tones also.

What kind of film do you use?
Most of our wedding pictures are now captured using top of the line digital cameras and yes you will get to keep the original unretouched high resolution digital files. If we need to cover a wedding event using traditional film, we generally use Fuji NPH professional color negative film and Illford XP2 black and white negative film. Kodak Portra and Kodak TMAX films are our alternate choices. All these are professional grade films that give us great results.
